The 1st intensive care conference (ICCON) was organized by W- Pratiksha hospital in association with clinical, awareness, research and education (CARE) foundation on 24th September 2017 at W-Pratiksha hospital Gurugram. The conference was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer, Gurugram, Dr. B.K. Rajora which was followed by the introduction of the hospital by Dr. Ragini Aggrawal, Director of medical services, W-Pratiksha hospital and the introduction of critical care services by Dr. Ajay Yadav, HOD anaesthesia and critical care services at W Pratiksha hospital.

The lectures were taken by eminent personalities in the field of critical care like Dr. Dhurv Chaudhry, Head of Deptt. Critical care, PGIMS Rohtak,  Dr. Naveen Malhotra, Professor at PGIMS, Rohtak, Dr. Rajkumar, Head respiratory ICU at Max hospital, Delhi and Dr. Prakash Shastri, Vice chairman, deptt. of critical care Sir Ganga ram hospital Delhi.  Lecture by Dr. Dhurv Chaudhry on H1N1 (swine flu) was an eye-opener.  Panel discussion on septicemia moderated by Dr. Deepak Verma, in- charge critical care at W Pratiksha was very much appreciated by the audience.
The programme was very nicely conducted by Dr. Pooja chopra, consultant, anesthesia and critical care.
